Football Camp

Football camp is what all students or professionals will go through when it comes to playing football.  Many of the camps will last anywhere between two weeks and a month or more.  This is for them to get in shape for the season and to build their body up.  Even if you believe that you are the best, you need to leave room to improve because everyone can improve some part of their game.  At camp, you endure hours and hours of practices and exercises that allow your body to get to use to the brutality of the season.

For high school kids, they will go somewhere at a college or camp that will isolate them from everything but practice.  This way they can focus on their game plan.  By focusing on their game plan, they will improve their performance.  For college students, they are usually encouraged to get into other sports so they don't have to train hard in the off-season and maybe build up some muscle mass in the off season.

Being recruited to become a college footballer or a professional footballer of the best teams is a success every footballer dreams of. Unfortunately, your skills are not only what it takes to make the dream come true, but also your luck.

When it comes to the recruitment process, the recruiter or scouts will often only look for players from the best teams in the league. So you often have to be a part of the best, because being the best in a random team might not get you a chance to be watched. Apart from luck, dealings for a spot in a college football team will not be done unless you show some dedication and skills in a camp before the football season starts.

Football The Common Confusion

Posted by: fun blog

People often confuse American football and European football for one another. The title of the games might mislead you into thinking they’re one of the same; albeit, they share dissimilarities to a very great extent. A football game, by definition, is a game in which 2 teams of 11 players each, kick or carry a ball into a goal or over a line to score points. The confusion can be clarified, simply, by realizing how the Americans play the game and how the Europeans play it.

American Football An Overall View
American football is a distinct type of football played in the United States. It is often confused with European football or, what they call, Soccer – a football game where you use your feet to control the ball unlike American football, where you use your hands to control the ball and hence, the game.

Here is a simple demonstration of a football game. Basically, a team is supposed to get the ball over its opponent’s goal line in order to score. If they do make it to the goal line, six points will be awarded. Then the team will have a chance to get a field goal by kicking the ball through two posts. IF a field goal is considered fair, the team will score an extra point.

Flag football The less aggressive football

Flag football is a less aggressive but can be just competitive as regular football. Flag football is played with five to seven players per team.  The captains are always to make sure that their team understands the rules.  Flag football has just as many rules as professional ball does. The field is divided into 20-yard zones and there are four zones.  Usually the boundaries are marked.  As for equipment, they only need to be dressed appropriately and have a belt with two flags on it.  Some players do where knee pads, but is optional.

The game will start after the toss.  Once it is determined, who will start on offense or defense the game will begin.  Players will line up like a regular game.  In fact, the only thing that is differently is the fact that the player will be "tackled" if the one of their flags are pulled off their belt. Instead of trying to get the player on the ground, you can get the player to stop by taking on of their flags that are located one on each hip of the player.

Different types of football equipment
You have several different types of football equipment.  You have equipment for the staff and then you have the equipment for the players.  Equipment for the players can be divided into personal and training. As for the staff, the coaches need to be able to communicate with each other.  That is why many coaches wear headsets.  As for the main coach, they need to have a playbook or something to write their plays down.  This is important to coaches because they need to adapt to every situation and scene.  During practice, they need to be equipment with whistles to begin and end plays or drills.  Lastly, for the staff, they are usually equipped with a uniform or shirt to be distinguished.
