Super Bowl, a.k.a. the most important game of a football season, has been played in many stadiums since 1967- first Super Bowl ever. The first Super Bowl game was held at LA Coliseum. After that, four of the next five games were played at the Orange Bowl Stadium. Tulane stadium was where it was held in 1970, 1972, and 1975. The Orange Bowl is actually the stadium that seems to have the game on a regular basis. For over ten years, the Orange Bowl hosted the Super Bowl almost every other or every two years. Rice Stadium only hosted the Super Bowl once and that was 1974 for the Miami and Minnesota game.
The game has also been played five times at the Rose Bowl stadium in 1977, 1980, 1983, 1987, and 1993. However, the Superdome, located in Texas, has also hosted the game five times. Some of the other stadiums that have hosted the Super Bowl are Jack Murphy Stadium, Stanford, Joe Robbie Stadium, Tampa, Georgia Dome, Sun Devil Stadium, Qualcomm Stadium, Pro Player Stadium, Raymond James Stadium, Reliant Stadium, Alltel Stadium, and Ford Field. Dolphins Stadium, Cardinals Stadium, Raymond James Stadium are planned to host the biggest game of the season in the next few years. The football stadiums that host the Super Bowl game is constantly evolving; always changing to a bigger, better, and more honourable than the past stadiums. Although the big game has been moving around a lot, the spirit and memories of the game and players that has graced the field- their biggest successes or failures – will never fade away.
