Football is a world famous sport. Time and over it has gained immense spectatorship and fame. There is no two ways about the fact that football is no longer just a game but a passion for both the players and the spectator. So do we define this extraordinary sport? Well football can be defined as a game or a form of sport activity which involves kicking a ball with different degrees by your foot in an effort to attain or score a goal i.e. the ball should hit the net. This game is played between two teams where each team is required to have to 11-18 players. As such there are various forms of football however the centre of attraction is still one known as the ASSOCIATION FOOTBALL commonly called as soccer or just football. Though the word soccer was a slang abbreviation adopted for the word association of the name ASSOCAITION FOOTBALL and because of this reason there were many controversies regarding the adoption of the word soccer however the use of the word still prevails even today. In fact more or less nowadays most of us acknowledge association football as SOCCER only.

Though sitting in the stadium the football might appear to be very simple to an ordinary man’s eyes but wait guys it is not that easy to play your so called soccer!! There is a long list of rules which needs to followed while playing association football which includes everything from head to toe including the field size, ball type etc. to begin with a must be followed rules while playing football are:

The field should be a rectangular field where the larger one should be 100yards accompanied by a 10yard endzone.

There are 11 players on the field at one time from both the teams and they all adjust themselves to a certain position on the field which aims on doing either of the two i.e. defense or offence.

There exist different rules for different football clubs like NFL, NCAA and arena football.

The scoring pattern for the teams is linked with their touchdowns (6points), field goals (3 points), extra points (2conversions) and safeties(2points).

There are penalties which lead to teams yardage.

Team which lose their cool or get offensive are quite prone to losing the ball by turnovers such as interceptions and fumbles.

After going through some more rules and regulations which are a must in every game of football , there are a few essentials to be kepT in mind:

To begin with football has some basic rules like PENALTIES in a SOCCER GAME. Penalties as such are in separable part of football games. Though the game of football may appear simple and straight but penalties are an integral part, which are capable of landing a team into a loss of yardage on each penalty.

Difference of rules footballs games do appear same and common however it is not same everywhere. The rules and regulations differ from country to country and also depending upon the clubs which run different soccer teams.

Equipments which are definitely not to be ignored. Playing football not only needs a passion but some practical ski8lls along with the right kind of gear. While choosing the equipments quality and resistibility should be kept in mind and before you head on to that field remember to put on the knee pads, helmets and off course your favorite soccer shoes. If you have all the gears ready then put them on and you are all set to conquer the field!!
